Back in the Cape!

We landed on Thursday and spent the first night with the lovely Adlards in Pinelands (great afternoon spent in Kirstenbosch gardens) before heading to J-Bay via Oudtshoorn: the inland route (worth it to get hold of some Ostrich carpaccio...yum). Great to be back, and the rain in the Eastern Cape has not yet dampened our spirits. More photos of our antics to follow...

Ben's first hockey match

Ben's team played their first match against the Highland hockey club in Inverness on Saturday (he's to the right of the ball in the photo: taking on the big ginger Scottish kid:). He was an absolute star, had some good runs with the ball and even nearly scored a goal (clearly not following in his mother's not-so-illustrious hockey footsteps!)
