First Snowfall

It's finally arrived: the long-awaited first snowfall of the winter (in Bloxham, anyway). Kids around the village were wide-eyed (Benanna included) as we crunched our way to school this morning. Much excitement as we'll be heading up to "Hobb Hill" later for snowball fights and more sloshy fun...

View from our lounge window early this morning.

More Holiday Pics

Ben is clearly his mother's child and was thoroughly delighted to show "Nini & Bean" around William Shakespeare's grave (Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-upon-Avon).

Visiting Gill and Dave and Anna modelling the cool princess hat she bought in the January sales (ELC dahling).

Mel's mom meeting her cousin, Jean, and Jean's daughter, Hazel, for this first time. (We visited them in Eastbourne).

Bodleian Library, Oxford on a very chilly day.

Having our first breakfast of 2007 with the Burbridge family. Cathy, Mike, Abi, Greg and Naartjie the dog drove up from East Sussex and joined us for New Years. (Rumours of certain parties falling asleep in front of the tv before midnight are totally unfounded.)

Making "Recipe Layer Cake" with Nini.

Abi and Ben playing with his "Playdoh Drill and Fill" Dentist set (thanks Uncle Jon, great gift!).

Christmas Holiday Highlights

Waiting up for Santa...

Christmas Eve with Uncle "Coco" and Aunty "Pi".

Opening pressies on Christmas Day.

Christmas lunch: traditional turkey with all the trimmings (which wasn't half hard work!).

Trying to work off all that food by going for a walk around the village.

And the Midgleys joined us for even more food!
