Ben and Anna dragged Oupa and Nana along to Rugby (the town) this morning. We visited the William Webb Ellis Museum and the Rugby School Museum and saw the very spot where all the trouble began way back in 1823. Philip was devastated when his son proclaimed at the end of it all, "I don't like rugby, I prefer soccer!"

Congratulations to our good friends from Eastbourne, Chris and Janette Coates, who got married on Saturday! We travelled up to Royston in South Yorkshire for the wedding (thanks to the Senior Schonks for BenAnna sitting). Our first "English" wedding was indeed memorable and we were the only foreigners: not another flat vowel to be heard anywhere!
